You remember Steve Katz, the Hudson Valley Republican Assemblyman ticketed earlier this year for having pot in his car when stopped by a State Police trooper on the Thruway near Coeymans. Yes, well, Katz is now part of a venture capital group that is "involved with cannabis-related industries." After voting against legalizing medical marijuana last year, Katz has become an advocate for it this year (post Thruway stop).
