Never having been a governor -- and, as a result, never having tried to take our daughters skiing, incognito, during state budget negotiations -- we can't necessarily speak from experience on this, but: If we were trying to take that trip without being noticed, we're pretty sure that parking the big, government-looking SUVs outside the offices of a newspaper in a small Adirondack village was not the best technique -- no matter how big the sunglasses are.
