That's a lot of snow
Snowfalls in the the Tug Hill area of New York State -- the area between the Adirondacks and Lake Ontario (roughly) -- are "probably the most intense storms in the world," according to a scientist studying the snow there. Thanks to lake effect snow, parts of the Tug Hill area get around 200 inches of snow a year. [Syracuse.com]
