Family Feud Live at The Palace

family feud liveCheesy but possibly fun: A live, audience participation version of The Family Feud is coming to the Palace May 2. Tickets went on sale today (February 7) -- they're $27.50 and up.

From what we can gather, the stage show more or less works like the TV show except that the "families" are people drawn at random from the crowd. The show cycles through the game twice. In between there's other audience participation stuff and prizes.

The random "family" thing is a bit weird -- it seems like it'd be more fun to have people team up on their own, but maybe that doesn't work in practice.

At any rate, the Palace show is on a Friday at 8 pm, so you won't have to be staying home sick from school to watch it.

By the way: There was a live version of the Price is Right that stopped at the Palace twice last year, and was apparently quite popular. So maybe this will be, too.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
