Snowy, snowy upstate
Noted: Three of the top-10 snowiest cities in the world are in upstate New York, according to this AccuWeather list. (You can probably guess which cities). All the cities get at least 90 inches of snow in a typical year. (Albany gets about 60 inches of snow in a typical year.) And New York has 12 of the nation's top 101 snowiest cities of population 50k or more, according to City Data. [via @CTLizB]

Back in December, Old Man Winter tiptoed into my house through an unlocked back door. He grabbed a beer from my 'fridge, sat down in my favorite chair, took off his shoes, and put his feet up on my ottoman.
Old Man Winter's like a relative who moved in and won't even think about leaving until April.
Upstate New York, keep your back doors locked for now on.
