AOA Birthday Party 6

Brown's Malt Room bar

The bar at The Malt Room. It's quite nice.

Update: As it does every year, the party filled up fast. But there's a wait list set up on Eventbrite (link below). And in years past, many people on the wait list have ended up with a spot. So if you're interested in going, please add your name to the list.

AOA is yet another year older, so we're celebrating. And you're invited. (Because of course you are.)

AOA6 will be at Brown's Malt Room in Troy on April 16 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. There will be free snacks, cake, and a lot of interesting people.

Because space is limited, we do ask that you RSVP at the linked Eventbrite page. The party fills up very fast every year.

See you there.

Looking forward to it. Thanks guys! :)

Darnit! There's already a waitlist.

I'm no wallflower but it was a bit overwhelming last year to walk into a room full of...strangers (yep, I don't get out much). I'd love to have name tags (is that too convention-y?) on people so I could easily know who belongs to all the comments we see during the year and insert myself into conversations accordingly...

Looking forward to meeting folks. I like the name tag idea!

That's a great idea, Rebecca. My wife and I were in the same boat apart from people we already knew (from other contexts).

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?
