Badness squared
The Washington Post's Catherine Rampell recently ran through some of the reasons the proposed TWC/Comcast merger could be a bad thing for subscribers, including the fact both companies are among the lowest rated for customer service in the entire country. There was also this great quote from Harold Feld of consumer advocacy group Public Knowledge: "When you put two bad companies together, they don't remain equally bad. They get worse ... And there's a multiplier effect. Instead of just bad plus bad, you get badness squared." [Washington Post]

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up.
