Over at the just-launched, still-has-the-new-website-smell Vox, Matthew Yglesias criticizes the Amtrak boarding approach at large train stations along the East Coast such as Penn Station in NYC, and shares some of the easier way to board. (You know about the Penn Station mezzanine shortcut, right?)

Thanks, Yglesias, for telling the world about the Penn Station shortcut. Now, when Amtrak shuts it down, we'll have to join the crowd around that skinny doorway and the jammed stairway down to the tracks. Like animals.
