Bike skills
For the not-so-certain cyclist: The Capital District Transportation Committee and New York Bicycling Coalition are sponsoring "Traffic Skills 101," a series of classes over the next few months to help people become more confident bike riders. "You will learn how to conduct bicycle safety checks, fix a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques." The two-day course will be held at sites around the Capital Region -- it's $5.
