Interesting: At 677 Prime -- the swank steak house in downtown Albany -- the current chef's tasting menu is...vegetarian. An example from the six-course menu: "Mushroom: Southern Fried Mushroom Steak, Creamy Shiitake and Cheddar Fregola, Grilled Ramp Puree, Roasted Corn and Red Pepper Relish, Creamy Porcini and Truffle 'Gravy'." For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
