The Tavern Troy exterior 2014-04The owners of The Confectionery and The Grocery in downtown Troy -- Vic Christopher and Heather LaVine have formally announced their next project: a revival of The Tavern in the building they're rehabbing at 211 Broadway. They're planning for an opening by the end of this year. (We got a look at the space last week, and there's a fair amount of work yet to be done, but the layout of the space looks good.) Christopher and LaVine are posting updates -- along with some fun historical memorabilia -- on a Facebook page for The Tavern.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
