Local creative economy survey

upstate creative logoThe Regional Alliance for a Creative Economy -- a local mult-org effort studying how to spur creative industries in the Capital Region -- is currently looking for input via an online survey. There's a $100 prize for one person who completes it.

Blurbage:

We are looking for your input! If you are a creative artist or freelancer in the visual arts, crafts, design, media, or performing arts disciplines please take this survey by June 1st to help us better understand the composition of creative individuals in our region and give your perspective on the strengths and challenges of the region's creative economy.
Your responses are confidential, will be aggregated with others, and will contribute to the assessment of the region's creative and cultural industries focused on how to further grow the Capital Region's creative economy. The survey responses will contribute to a report with recommendations of how to leverage the region's existing creative assets.

The survey includes questions about stuff like the availability of studio space, talent, and networking opportunities. That link includes a few more details to read before taking the survey.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
