The Malta man who had been in a coma since he was injured in a police chase in Saratoga Springs in August, died on Tuesday morning.[Saratogian][TU]
Former NYRA CEO Charles Hayward and NYRA trustee Steve Duncker testified at the trial of Joe Bruno on Tuesday that the former senator was working to replace members of NYRA's board with an associate of businessman Jarred Abbruzzese who was working on a private takeover of NYRA .
The prosecution is expected to rest its case against Bruno on Wednesday and experts say the Senator is not expected to take the stand.[TU][TWCN]
Two children were injured when the inflatable bounce house they were playing in was blown 20 feet into the air by a gust of wind in South Glens Falls on Monday. The DOT is fining Canadian Pacific for waiting five hours to report that a crude oil train derailed in Albany on Monday.
