Morrette's King Steak House -- in business in Schenectady since 1947 -- is closing this Friday night, the Gazette's Jeff Wilkin reports. The family that owns it has decided it's time to stop, and they've haven't been able to find a buyer. I drove up from Kingston yesterday hoping to get one more sandwich, but it wasn't meant to be. I'll mid the place. Since according to the article the building is still for sale, here's hoping someone comes along and takes over.
