Rensselaer out
The city of Rensselaer is apparently out of the running for the Capital Region casino after the two large gambling/entertainment/development companies looking at the waterfront there there have decided to not pursue the site, the Times Union's James Odato reports. Rensselaer's mayor tells the Biz Review's Mike DeMasi that no other companies are considering the waterfront site for a casino. [TU] [Biz Review]

Casinos don't have windows to keep people inside as long as possible. Why locate it near water anyway?
