The Restoration Festival is returning this summer on August 15 and 16, and it's returning to the Contemporary Artists Center at Woodside in Troy. The homegrown musical festival is now in its fifth (!) year.

Once again there will be two stages, and organizers are working to line up 20 acts. Confirmed acts so far: The North & South Dakotas, Eastbound Jesus, Titanics, Wild Adriatic, The Slaughterhouse Chorus, Rival Galaxies, Hammer Hawk, and Bear Grass.

We hear from organizers that they're currently working on lining up a few national acts for the festival, as in past years. There will be more announcements as things come together.

Early bird tickets are currently available by singing up for the Rest Fest mailing list. They'll go on sale to the general public June 23 via the festival's website.
