Patroon Island Bridge weekend work

The state Department of Transportation is urging people to find alternate routes for the Patroon Island Bridge (the one that carries I-90 over the Hudson River between Albany and Rensselaer) this weekend. DOT says lane and ramp closures related to renovation work on the bridge could mean "lengthy traffic delays." Lane closures start at 8 pm Friday (July 11) and continue until 5:30 am Monday (July 14).
