Stephen at (his new) home
Stephen Colbert is taking over for David Letterman on The Late Show next year -- and New York State is helping along the transition with $16 million in tax breaks for CBS, The Hollywood Reporter reports -- much of that coming from something called the "New York State Excelsior Jobs Program," which was intended to entice businesses to relocate. But, you know, The Late Show is already in NYC. CBS is creating a new production company so the show can be treated as a new business. [The Hollywood Reporter]
