Lineup for Pearl Palooza 2014

pearl palooza crowd 2012

The crowd at Pearl Palooza a few years back.

Updated with scheduled set times.

This year's Pearl Palooza -- the WEQX-organized free music festival on Pearl Street in downtown Albany -- is set for Saturday, September 13.

The lineup of national and local acts -- with video clips -- is after the jump.

South Stage 1-1:45 pm: The Weeks

North Stage 2-2:45 pm:Northern Faces

South Stage 3-3:45 pm: Slaptop

North Stage 4-4:45 pm: Royal Bangs

South Stage 5-5:45 pm: Wild Adriatic

North Stage 6-6:45 pm: Broods

North Stage 7:15-8:30 pm: Terraplane Sun

9 pm: Free after party at The Hollow with MIRK and Rival Galaxies.

I listen to a lot of indie hipster music and I have never heard of any of these acts. Is this intentional to try to keep the crowd from being a bunch of drunken idiots?

Mike, love your positivist attitude! Can't wait to see you there!

Wild Adriatic is awesome! Don't miss them!!

Does anyone know the times that each band is playing?

This year’s lineup includes and set times:

South Stage:
1-145 The Weeks
5-545 Wild Adriatic

North Stage:
2-245 Northern Faces
4-445 Royal Bangs
6-645 Broods
715-830 Terraplane Sun

After Party: 9pm at The Hollow with MIRK and Rival Galaxies! FREE.

Can't wait!!

Does that "something else" that EQX is cooking up involve a mystery act playing after 8:30? Let's hope so, because Terraplane Sun is a good band, but they're certainly not headliner material, even for a small festy like this one.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

I went to polish school, I grew up eating polish food, I even help cook polish food at the biannual polish dinner/ dances and even dressed up like a polish soldier for parades, so l guess I'm polish AND there is nothing better than going to Muza's for the food I grew up that is just as good as moms.
