Wanted: Two tall trees

The state Office of General Services today put out a call for spruce trees candidates to serve as the holiday trees at the Capitol and Empire State Plaza. "The tree should be a spruce between 35 and 55 [feet] tall, easily accessible on the property and clear of power lines. Proximity to the Capital Region is ideal." A couple from Schenectady donated one of the trees last year.
