Nas: Time is Illmatic at The Palace
Hip hop titan Nas is set to be at The Palace October 3 for a concert and screening of the new documentary Nas:Time is Illmatic. Tickets go on sale this Friday (August 15) -- they're $40 and up.
The show at the Palace will be a screening of the doc followed by Nas performing the album Illmatic live from the start to finish.
It's been 20 years since the album's release. The doc looks at Nas' childhood and early career and the recording of Illmatic. Here's a Variety review following its release at the Tribeca Film Fest earlier this year.

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

Yasss! My son's very favorite rapper. I'm so glad we don't have to drive to the Meadowlands now.
