Evil Dead: The Musical x2

evil dead the musical touring company

From the touring company that will be a Proctors.

Somewhat improbably, there's a stage musical version of The Evil Dead cult-classsic movie series. And somewhat even more improbably, there will be two productions of it in this area over the next week.

Proctors
Proctors is hosting the touring production Evil Dead: The Musical next Tuesday, October 28. From the blurbage:

Patron Advisory: Those seated in the designated "Splatter Zone" seat locations will be splashed by stage "blood" and get increasingly wet over the course of the performance.

The show is at 7:30 pm on the Proctors main stage. Tickets are $20 and up (the splatter zone is $75 and $85).

Troy Civic
More chainsaw: Troy Civic is staging a production of Evil Dead: The Musical at The Troy Atrium starting this Friday and Saturday. And it will continue the next two weekends.

Tickets for the Troy Civic production are $15 / $13 for students and seniors.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
