Downton Abbey season premiere at Proctors

downton abbey promo photoThe next season of Downtown Abbey starts running on TV here in the United States on January 4 -- but Proctors is screening the premiere episode December 17 in the GE Theater. The screening is free, though WHMT asks that you reserve a spot.

Given how large the screen is in the GE Theater, it will probably feel like sitting down to dinner with the Crawleys. So, you know, maybe it's not a bad idea to wear your tails.

Neighborhood That Disappeared: A quick reminder that The Neighborhood That Disappeared, the doc about the neighborhood replaced by the ESP, is set to air on WHMT this Friday, December 13 at 8 pm and again on Saturday at 3:30 pm.
