So much fizz for cider
Over at FiveThirtyEight, Jonah Keri details some numbers from the cider boom -- sales were up 75 percent nationally last year. Much of the article focuses on the plotting by the big multinational beverage companies to take over the growing market (Advertising! Women! ... Ice?!). But the interesting thing about the trend, to us, has been 1) Cider is another outlet for New York's plentiful apple crop, and 2) The small cideries that are popping up around New York (example: Nine Pin in Albany).
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
