How Water Behaves

Tuesday: It's opening night for Capital Rep's production of Sherry Kramer's How Water Behaves. Blurbage:

It all begins when sweet Nan and her out-of-work webmaster hubby, Steve, realize they can't afford to keep up the extravagant gift giving that has become their family's tradition. In an effort to make everyone happy, they announce that they have made a gift to a charity in everyone's name. Except it's a fictitious charity. No problem -- until the website that Steve creates to seal the deal becomes prey to cyberspace hijinks, with deliciously funny and unpredictable results.

Cops, Communities, and the Search for Common Ground

Wednesday: The Justice and Multiculturalism in the 21st Century Project at UAlbany and the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany are co-sponsoring an event titled "Finding Justice A Conversation about Cops, Communities, and the Search for Common Ground." The discussion will include representatives of the UAlbany School of Criminal Justice, the Albany Police Department, UAlbany Police Department, and Israel AME Church. Wednesday 7 pm, First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany (405 Washington Avenue)

Spank!

Thursday: The touring show Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody will be at Proctors. It's pretty much what it says on the label: "Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody is the whip-smart comedy that takes on the naughty fun of the best-selling book and highly-anticipated movie, and brings it to outrageous life!" Thursday 8 pm - $20 and up
