The week ahead
Here are a few things to keep in mind, look forward to, or keep busy with this week, from the weather (early week snow dump), to arts and sciences, to works on stage, to comedy, to chowder, to music...
Weather
Here's the paraphrased forecast for this week:Monday: Cloudy, snow starting in the afternoon. Could be heavy snow in the evening. High around 20.
Tuesday: Snow, could be heavy at times. Highs around 20.
Wednesday: Sunny and 23.
Thursday: Some sun, maybe some snow. Upper 20s.
Friday: Cloudy, maybe some snow. Mid 20s.
Weekend: Sunny and cold, upper 10s.
Later Monday and into Tuesday could be messy. A Nor'easter is moving up the coast and there's a NWS winter storm watch for the area. The amount of snow from these sorts of storms can vary greatly based on few changes (like the path of the storm). But as of Sunday, it looked like the Albany area could get 10+ inches of snow, with more to the east and southeast, and less to the northwest.
