Wednesday night we're celebrating AOA's 7th birthday party.
Those years, somehow, seem both really long and really short.

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

The Takk house is charming.
Food was great, imaginative,and the service was sublime.
The best part was the delicious cup cakes.
Loved the chocolate butter cream, HEAVEN!

I only stopped by for the last bit, but it was a lot of fun, the food was excellent, the people were friendly, and it was great to be able to explore such a unique location. Which kind of highlights the best of what AOA has to offer, I guess: different food, new people, great places. So: thank YOU.

Your work is diverse in topic and tone, and offers people from local communities an opportunity to connect, interact and experience things that they might otherwise never known about. Some kind of nasty respiratory thing got me and let up only after the last cupcake had been eaten. I am glad you had a good party.
