AOA7 party composite

We had a lot of fun celebrating AOA7 Wednesday evening. Thanks to the Takk House for being such great hosts, New World Catering for the tasty food, Yogibo Crossgates for setting up a sweet comfy lounge and DJ Trumastr for spinning the music.

And most all, thank you to everyone who celebrated with us, either in person or in spirit. We appreciate it. A lot.

Here are a bunch of photos from the party...

Yay!

I'm pretty sure a good time was had by all. Or at very least, by me. Also, good cupcakes. GREAT cupcakes! :)

I wish I could have attended one of these parties over the years. This one, especially, because I LOVE NWBB and I bet their catered food was an awesome highlight. My mobility disability, logistics, medications, and timing have always prevented that from happening. I have enjoyed AOA and think it's one of the best sources for news and information on the Capital Region. I'll be leaving NYS this year, after almost 8 years here, living with my mom due to my total and permanent disability (and inability to work and live independently). We're headed back to the west coast (I was living in Seattle when I got sick) to live out Mom's retirement on the Oregon coast. I still hope (even though I won't be here) that AOA has its party next year somewhere in Schenectady. I also hope AOA has much success and many parties for may years to come.

Thank you so much for inviting me to your super soiree!
The setting was perfect ,and so retro.
New World Bistro, Ric, and his crew did an amazing job of making the food mouth watering, portable, and so pretty.
Gregg's wife's cup cakes were 'HEAVENLY', and the chocolate butter cream was so addictive!
The photographer was the only one who spent time talking 'to this old gal', besides marvelous Mary.
But, that's ok 'cause i got to eat at leisure, and people watch.

So much fun! So much food! What a wonderful way to break up a long week. Thank you AOA, the hosts at this great venue, the NWBB team, the photographers and everyone else who made this shindig what it was!

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?
