This New York Post profile of Elise Stefanik is... odd. People are complicated, and they can be many different things at the same time, but the profile is like someone emptied a box of tropes into a blender. There are some important and interesting threads to Stefanik's story, but focusing on stuff like being "fresh-faced" and wearing "feminine frocks" isn't the way to highlight them. [NY Post]

I'm glad that the NYPost is around to let us ladies know there are multifaceted women in political office to look up to. She wears dresses AND drives a truck? I didn't know I could do that! Elise truly is breaking down boundaries and I, for one, am glad that she has the stregth and conviction to wear nude 2 inch heels in a sea of black StrideRight pumps. It's this type of "swim against the stream" politicians that Upstate needs to bring jobs back to this great state!

Anyway, I need to go take a nap now. All this effort of reading the Post has seriously taxed my girl-brain. Now I'm not even sure if I'll have the strength to iron!
