"Stick It To Hunger" stick ball tournament 2015

stickball tournament 2015The "Stick It To Hunger" stick ball tournament, hosted by DeFazio's, is returning to Troy's Little Italy neighborhood this Sunday. Blurbage:

Join us Sunday, May 3rd for our 7th annual Stickball Tournament at the Little Italy Marketplace! Blue Hand Luke will perform from 2:00-4:30pm! Also, the Montreal Circus Group will be performing during the day! All you need to enter is a non-perishable food donation! We will have our wood fired oven setup and we encourage everyone to bring their own beverages. If you would like to enter a stickball or bocce team in the tournament please email Matt at defaziospizza@gmail.com. ...

The tournament is from 11 am to 5 pm.

Last year the event raised about $14k in donations, and this year it's aiming to raise $20,000 for Joseph's House and other local food pantries.
