Drawing: Mayweather-Pacquiao at Wolff's

Floyd_Mayweather_Jr_vs._Manny_Pacquiao_at_Wolff's.jpgDrawing's closed! Winner's been emailed!

The Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao boxing match -- "the Fight of the Century" -- is this Saturday evening. It's been getting a lot of hype, even beyond the sport of boxing. And it's on pay per view.

So, people will be gathering in various places to catch the match. Among the local spots are both Wolff's Biergarten locations, in Albany and Schenectady. We have a pair of tickets for the evening at Wolff's -- including two wurst plates + two liters of beer -- and we're giving them away.

To enter the drawing, please answer this question in the comments:

What are you fighting for?

As with all these sorts of questions, we're interpreting "fighting" very broadly -- it could be fighting for a cause, fighting for a better job, or even fighting the weeds for a better yard. So, it could anything.

We'll draw one winner at random. That person gets the pair of tickets, along with the food and beer, at one of your choice of Wolff's locations.

Tickets for viewing the match are Wolff's are $20 each and available online.

Important: All comments must be submitted by 1 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 to be entered in the drawing. You must answer the question to be part of the drawing. (Normal commenting guidelines apply.) One entry per person, please. You must enter a valid email address (that you check regularly) with your comment. The winner will be notified via email by 2 pm on Friday and must respond by 8 pm that day.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
