As pointed out by Liz Benjamin today, Eliot Spitzer is apparently absent from the state's Hall of Governors website -- he doesn't have a profile page, and the timeline of governors includes a blank space for Spitzer's term.

Ridiculous. A truly childish view of history: hagiographies of Important Personages we idealize and worship. I thought we were past that. Give me realistic biography, warts and all, and that should apply to the "official" (sanctioned) New York State history as well.
