Swimming at Thompsons Lake! Love to take the kid there and enjoy the sun, sand and water!

Try to enjoy it and not long for the first crisp morning of autumn...

My local must do list is to spend as much time outdoors. Summer goes by so quickly and I want to enjoy every minute of it here in Albany. I'm planning a day trip to Cooperstown, visit the NYS museum, eat BBQ from the food trucks and go swimming in Lake George and at the local parks.

It's not a summer without at least one boating excursion on Lake George.

Travers!!!!

I will be spending as many weekends as possible on The Great Sacandaga Lake.

Most definitely camping. Starting on the July 4th weekend in Watkins Glen -- one of the nicest places on this planet.

A must do for every summer is a trip to Samascott for berry picking. This year is going to be especially awesome, now that we have discovered the art of making shrub. We've already got a strawberry rhubarb mash going from last weeks haul.

To check out some new state parks!

Get that Ethiopian platter you just featured, damn'it!

Definitely the Track in Saratoga, Alive at 5 in Albany, and camping in Lake George.

Hike a few high peaks. A must do every summer

The beach at Grafton for a lazy day.
