Here are a few things to keep in mind, look forward to, or keep busy with this week, from the weather (August is trying), to The Track, to the orchestra, to bourbon, to burlesque, to music...

Weather

Here's the paraphrased forecast for this week:
Monday: Sunny and 92.
Tuesday: The same, but with chance of thunderstorms.
Wednesday: Repeat.
Thursday: The same, but upper 80s.
Friday: The same, but mid 80s.
Weekend: And so on.

The Track

It's the fourth full week of the season at the Saratoga Race Course. Wednesday is both Italian-American Day and umbrella giveaway day. (And, of course, there is no racing on Tuesday.)

Philadelphia Orchestra

This the last week of the Philadelphia Orchestra's summer residence at SPAC. Wednesday's program is "An Evening on the Rhine." Thursday is chamber ensembles from the orchestra. Friday's program features star violinist Joshua Bell. And Saturday is the "1812 Spectacular."

Outdoor movie

Wednesday: The "Capitol Park After Dark" series of outdoor movies in West Capitol Park resumes this week with a screening of Monsters University. (Bring a chair or blanket.) Wednesday 8 pm - free

Stage

WTF
This is the last week of the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The productions of A Moon for the Misbegotten and An Intervention continue. Later this week is the improv show Baby Wants Candy.

Park Playhouse
This is the last week for the Park Playhouse's production of The Pajama Game in Albany's Washington Park. Tuesday-Sunday 7:30 pm - lawn seating is free / reserved seats are $16 and $18

B4

Thursday: Proctors is hosting an event called B4, which is being touted as "a barbecue eatin', bourbon tastin', beer sippin', foot stompin' good time." Multiple barbecue vendors, along with multiple bourbon brands, will be there giving out tastings and selling items. There will also be country music and mechanical bull rides. Thursday 5:30 pm - $30 (includes admission, three draft beers, bourbon tastings, $5 food voucher) / designated drivers $15

Thrill Bill

Looking ahead the weekend: C. Amanda Boutahorse's Cult Classics Burlesque will be presenting a tribute to Kill Bill titled "Thrill Bill" Friday at The Hangar in Troy. Friday 9 pm - $15

Music

Monday: Conehead Buddha at Washington Park lake house amphitheater
Revival of the Monday concert series. 6 pm - free

Tuesday: Saratoga Stories: Magic And Loss A Night of Stories, Music and Words at Caffe Lena
"Based on the release of the book "Saratoga Stories: Magic And Loss" by journalist Thomas Dimopoulos, this event will feature a collaborative night of stories and music woven together to tell some of Saratoga's best, as well as some of its least-known gems, brought to the live stage for this one-time event during this summer's celebration of the Centennial Anniversary of the city of Saratoga Springs." 7 pm - $10

Tuesday: Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at SPAC
"Russian Twilight" program. 8 pm - $40 and up

Wednesday: Blues for Breakfast at Rockin' on the River
In Riverfront Park. 5 pm - free

Wednesday: Muscle Shoals Music Review Tour with Sarah Borges & Amy Black at Caffe Lena
"[A] soulful celebration of the incredible music that came out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama in the 1960s and 70s." 7 pm - $18

Austin singer/songwriter. 8 pm - $20

Friday: Garage Bands at the Albany Public Library
Family-friendly show in the garage at the Washington Ave main library -- Dearest Vendetta, Real Blue Sky, and The National Physical Fitness Award. 6 pm - free

Saturday: Electric Love Fest in Lake George (Charles R. Wood Park and Festival Space)
Mike Doughty, Genevieve, Northern Faces, Start Making Sense, Gang of Thieves, Peter Prince & Moon Boot Lover, Rich Ortiz. gates at 11 am - $35

Saturday: John Williams' Film Night at Tanglewood
The Boston Pops playing the film music of John Williams. (The composer won't be able to make it this year because he's recovering from a back problem.) 8:30 pm - $22 and up

Saturday: Life in Film at The Hollow
Indie rock. 8 pm - $10.27

Sunday: John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey "Radio Deluxe Live" at Tanglewood
"This brilliant show mixes and matches songs in medleys and sequences that flow like a continuing dialogue about life, relationships and popular culture itself." 4 pm - $19 and up
