It's Travers Week at the Saratoga Race Course.

Here are a few things to keep in mind, look forward to, or keep busy with this week, from the weather (nice), to The Track, to baseball, to comedy, to the fair, to music...

Weather

Here's the paraphrased forecast for this week:
Monday: Sunny and 85.
Tuesday: Some sun, maybe some rain. Low 80s.
Wednesday: Sunny and 79.
Thursday: Sunny and 77.
Friday: Sunny and 78.
Weekend: Sun and 80s.

August

This is it. The last full week of August. You know all those summer things you've wanted to do? Don't wait. Do them.

The Track

It's the fifth full week of the season at the Saratoga Race Course. This Saturday is Travers Day -- featuring the biggest race of the season (admission is already sold out) -- so there's a lot going on, including Travers 1864 Restaurant Week. Wednesday is Stewart's Shops Day and the annual ice cream eating contest. (And, of course, there is no racing on Tuesday.)

Baseball

Monday-Wednesday: The ValleyCats are at the Joe for a three-game series against Connecticut. Promotions: Monday is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle night, Tuesday is Irish night, and Wednesday is hockey night.

Washington County Fair

Monday-Sunday: County fair season picks up again with the Washington County Fair at the fairgrounds in Greenwich. It bills itself as "New York's #1 Agricultural County Fair."

Comedy

Aziz Ansari
Tuesday: Aziz Ansari will be back at the Comedy Works for another round of surprise shows. Three shows on Monday have already sold out, and one show on Tuesday has as well. There are two shows remaining with tickets as of Sunday morning -- 9 pm and 11 pm. They'll probably be sold out soon. Tickets are $40.

Kevin Hart
Thursday: Kevin Hart will be at the TU Center for stand-up show. Thursday 8 pm - $49.50 and up

Eddie Izzard
Thursday: Eddie Izzard will be at Tanglewood for a stand-up show. Thursday 7 pm - $54 and up

Be A Man
Wednesday: Ray Harrington will be at Proctors for a live comedy show and screening of his documentary Be A Man. Blurbage: "BE A MAN is a funny and heartfelt feature-length documentary that follows comedian Ray Harrington on his journey to discover just what it means to be a modern man before his son is born. Ray tackles challenges he sets for himself on subjects he thinks make a Man such as Fighting, Drinking, Cars, Sports, Grooming, Women, and much more." There will also be a post-screening Q&A with Harrington. Wednesday 7 pm - $9 / $6 students

Outdoor movie

Wednesday: The Capitol Park After Dark series wraps up with the an outdoor screening of the The Maltese Falcon in West Capitol Park. (Bring a chair.) 8 pm - free

Looking ahead to the weekend...

Sunday: Dion Flynn -- a UAlbany alum whose appeared in sketches multiple times with Jimmy Fallon on Late Night and the Tonight Show -- will be at Proctors for his one-man show The Only Brown Kid in the Trailer Park, presented by MopCo. Sunday 7 pm - $15 and $25

Monday: Beach House at Upstate Concert Hall
Dream pop. With: Romantic States. 8 pm - $20 ahead / $22 day of

Monday: Fifth Harmony at The Palace
