New head for the Arts Center

The Arts Center of the Capital Region announced today that its new CEO will be Elizabeth Reiss, who's currently the director of development at the Albany Institute. A press release notes that Reiss's goals for the org include "increasing public engagement, strategic planning that will lead to launching new program that create and build upon The Arts Center's brand, continue to grow audiences and revenue and be an active leader in the creative and civic dialog." The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
