For r-eel
This surely a sign of... something: TWCN's Barry Wygel posted a pic on Twitter today of an eel that washed up into Stuyvesant Plaza during the flooding on Western Ave. (There are eels in the Hudson River and its tributaries, so an eel washing up there during a storm might not be too weird.) If I recall correctly, there is an underground creek in that area that flows into the Hudson River. It's one of the reasons for the regular flooding of the Fuller/Western intersection during heavy rains. that might be the reason for an eel up there.

Was it dead? Or did everyone just stand around and watch it die as they took the ever important pictures of it to post to their hallowed social media accounts?
