This was both the 3rd warmest, and 10th wettest, September on record in Albany, according to the National Weather Service. The average temp was almost a full 7 degrees higher than normal (there were three days with highs of at least 90, and 12 with highs of at least 80). And the rainfall would have been about normal except for the 3.85 inches we got over two days earlier this week. [NWS Albany]
For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
