Troy Night Out
Friday: This month's Troy Night Out has Halloween theme. Haunted tours, a game jam at the Arts Center for the Capital Region, crafts at the Tech Valley Center of Gravity's THINQubator, gallery showings and performances.

Halloween

It's this Saturday. Here are a few ways to celebrate:

Parties
Saturday: There's a Halloween costume party at the Washington Park Lake House again this year ($35 ahead / $40 at door). And Chris Pratt is hosting a Halloween costume party under a big tent in Albany's Warehouse District ($25 ahead / $40 at door).

Trick or treating
Saturday: Albany Law is hosting its 5th annual Trick or Treat Street. Kids can go tick or treating at the Albany Law gymnasium. Student groups will set up booths with candy for safe trick or treating. Food and refreshments will be provided by the law school community. Saturday 3 pm to 6 pm - free

Halloween at miSci
Saturday: miSci hosts a day of Halloween events on Saturday with a scavenger hunt, spooky activities and a costume parade. free with museum admission

Saratoga Scare Fair
Friday-Saturday: This is the final weekend for the Saratoga Scare Fair. It's a spooky teen/adult haunted house at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds. Friday and Saturday 6:30-10 pm - $10

Haunted corn maze
Friday-Saturday: It's the last weekend of the season for Schuyler Farms a haunted corn maze. Friday and Saturday 7-10 pm (last ticket sold at 9:15 pm) - $14

Haunted Hayrides
Friday-Saturday: Haunted Hayride season at Double M in Ballston Spa wraps up. call for reservation - $24

Field of Horrors
Firday-Sunday: The Field of Horrors in Brunswick wraps up its season this weekend with four haunted attractions. Friday-Sunday 6-11 pm - $25

Canfield Casino Ghost Tours
Saturday: The Saratoga Springs History Museum hosts ghost tours of the second and third floors of the Canfield Casino in Saratoga's Congress Park. Saturday 11 am to 3 pm - $7, $4 for kids

The Spirits of Rensselaer: RPI's Historic Ghost Tour
Friday: A 90-minute spooky guided walking tour of RPI's lower campus. Friday at 7 pm - free admission (registration required, this weekend's tours are nearly full)

Stockade candlelight walking tours
Friday: Candlelight walking tours of the historic Schenectady Stockade. 7 pm & 7:30 pm - $10 (tours are close to sold out)

Fall fun

Liberty Ridge Farm's Fall Festival
Friday-Sunday: Pumpkin patch, cornfield maze, and other fall farm adventures at Liberty Ridge Farm's ongoing fall festival.

Schuyler Farms Corn Maze
Saturday-Sunday: Schuyler Farms is offering its annual corn maze with hayrides, a petting zoo and gemstone mining a corn maze and more. Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 am - $8 per person

The Night Alive
Friday-Sunday: Curtain Call Theater presents the regional premiere of Conor McPherson's The Night Alive, the story of a man who rises from the ashes of his life in Dublin. Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm - $24

Bing Bamboo Room Burlesque

Friday: MASS MoCA hosts a screening of Keys Open Doors: The Hidden Life of Laura Palmer. The Movies and Mimosa classic this Saturday and Sunday morning at The Bow Tie is Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. The Friday and Saturday night Insomnia Theater flick is the original Friday the 13th.

Museums/galleries

The Capital Region in 50 Objects
The new Capital Region in 50 Objects exhibit continues at The Albany Institute of History and Art. It's a look at 50 iconic objects and images that help tell the story of the Capital Region.

More museums
+ A new work from painter Barbara Takenaga is on a 100-foot wall at MASS MoCA.
+ The Hyde Collection recently opened an exhibition of American printmaking.
+ The Arkell has relatively new exhibitions of winter landscapes and the work of illustrator William Joyce.
+ And the Clark has a new exhibitlooking at how the museum collects art.

The Conway Ice Rink at Hudson Valley Community College is open for the season. Admission is free for this opening weekend.

Farmers' markets
Farmers' markets are outside for one more weekend.
+ Troy Waterfront Farmers Market is on River Street in Troy. (It moves inside the Atrium in November.) Saturday 9 am-2 pm
+ It's the last weekend outdoors for the Saratoga Farmers' Market in High Rock Park. Saturday from 9 am-1 pm
+ The Delmar Farmers Market is open for the season at Bethlehem Central Middle School. It's outdoors until November 7. Saturday 9 am-1 pm
+ The Schenectady Greenmarket will be around Schenectady City Hall. Sunday from 10 am-2 pm.
+ The Spa City Farmers' Market will be outside the Lincoln Baths Sunday from 10 am-3 pm
