"It's become very meaningful for me, perhaps the most meaningful Christmas service of all"
Over at the Daily Gazette Bill Buell talks with some local ministers about Blue Christmas services -- holiday services for people who are feeling loss. As one pastor described the service: "They get to come to church and spend some time with family or friends without the pressure we feel to be joyous during the holidays. They're just not feeling joyous, and this gives them permission to grieve, and it also helps create a pathway for joy." [Daily Gazette]
