Monday-Wednesday: Proctors is showing Creed on the big screen in the GE Theater. It's gotten good reviews. (And it has Michael B. Jordan.) Monday-Wednesday various times - $5

Elvis Costello
Thursday: Proctors is showing Elvis Costello - Detour: Live at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in the GE Theater. Blurbage: "Set in a 1960s living room with an oversized television broadcasting never-seen-before personal photos, Detour Live At Liverpool Philharmonic Hall sees Costello in front of his hometown crowd digging deep into his catalogue." Thursday 7 pm - $15 / $10 students and kids

Stories

Tuesday: The Front Parlor storytelling series is back at The Ale House in Troy. This month's theme is "Defiance." Tuesday 7:30 pm

Hoops

Tuesday: The UAlbany men's baskeball team takes on New Hampshire at SEFCU Arena. The Great Danes are 13-4 over all and 2-0 in the America East. Tuesday 7 pm - $12 and up

The Supernaturalists

Wednesday: The touring magic show The Supernaturalists, starring Criss Angel, will be at the Palace. It's billed as "a truly revolutionary theatrical experience of magic." Wednesday 7:30 pm - $39.50

Coloring for adults

Wednesday: The Schenectady County Public Library is hosting the first of its coloring nights for adults. Blurbage: "Tons of recent research suggests that coloring is one of the best ways for adults to reduce stress and relax! We will have relaxing music, stunning patterns, coloring markers & pencils, and hot drinks while we enjoy a peaceful hour of coloring." It's ages 14 and up. Wednesday 6:30 pm, Central Library - free

Wine and Dine for the Arts

Thursday: The annual Wine and Dine for the Arts food and wine festival starts in downtown Albany and continues into the weekend. The multi-day event includes tastings, chefs and restaurants, seminars, and competitions for sliders, baristas, and bartenders. (Some events have already sold out and others probably will sell out.) Thursday-Saturday - various times and prices
