Festival of Manliness deerThe annual Festival of Manliness returns to Revolution Hall at Brown's January 24. It's a beer dinner paired with a chance to watch the NFL conference championships on a big screen.

Amazing hand crafted pints of Brown's beer are paired with every course at this 21+ event. Catch the AFC and NFC championships on the big screen. After dinner, settle in with hand rolled cigars from Habana Premium Cigar Shoppe. Enter the Pints for Prostates nation wide raffle with a grand prize of a nine night trip for two from BeerTrips.com to Prague, Bamberg and Munich for Oktoberfest (September 21 to October 1). This national drawing will take place on July 30.

Tickets are $80 and available online. The event is a benefit for Pints for Prostates.

Chili cook-off: Speaking of Brown's, the annual Firehouse Chili Cookoff is February 6 at Rev Hall. It's $10 general admission.

Ive done the Man Dinner (that sounds weird...) the last 4 years and its a great time. Apart from the great food, booing the hell out of the raffle winners is the best part.

How is it "Wild Game" like the flyer says? Lamb, guinea hen, Baby Back Ribs, and Turkey all sound like farm-raised meats. I would expect deer, pheasant, boar, and, well, turkey.
