Drawing's closed! Winner's been emailed!
It's now February, so how are some of those New Year's resolutions working out? Yeah...
So, let's send them to their timely ends with gusto. It's the return of the Resolution Shmezolution drawing!
This year's prize includes:
+ A $30 gift card to Crave Burgers and Frozen Yogurt

+ One pound of fudge -- in a heart-shaped box -- from Uncle Sam's Candy
To enter the drawing, please answer this question in the comments:
What are you planning to go all-out on this year?
This could be anything: Maybe you're planning to step it up at work. Maybe you're planning to see a ton of concerts around the area. Maybe you're going to run that marathon. It could be whatever. (Normal commenting guidelines apply.)
We'll draw one winner at random.
Important: All comments must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2016 to be entered in the drawing. You must answer the question to be part of the drawing. (Normal commenting guidelines apply.) One entry per person, please. You must enter a valid email address (that you check regularly) with your comment. I'm going to go full bore on making the best use of the fleeting moments left to me after my children and job suck all the free time I once had from my universe. In those precious minutes, I shall complete at least one Boston Globe crossword completely by New Year's Eve 2016. This excludes bathroom time.

I am planning to support and be more involved in my community here in Albany. For birthdays/holidays I am trying to check out the local shops for gifts and treats before going to the mall or walmart. If I am going out to eat Id rather try something local(we have so any options!) instead of hitting a chain. I already volunteer for some of the events around Albany but I would like to be move involved. I am realizing it is more and more important to be active in your community if you want things done!

Anywhoo, so, I have a totally attainable resolution, and yes, I will give it my all. But, more pertinent to your question...I'm going to throw myself into writing more.

Taking care of my health. In November I went to the hospital for the first time in almost 30 years because I thought I was having my a heart attack or aneurism and might be dead in hours. After a lot of t STS they found no heart trouble thank the lord. But there are a few more re things I need to take care of including blood pressure, cholesterol, drinking etc.
