I'm going to go full bore on making the best use of the fleeting moments left to me after my children and job suck all the free time I once had from my universe. In those precious minutes, I shall complete at least one Boston Globe crossword completely by New Year's Eve 2016. This excludes bathroom time.

Sleeping

I am going to walk, run and hike 300 outdoor miles this year. Treadmills don't count. ;)

I'm going to cook at home more this year and become a culinary genius!

Not letting things get to me.

I am planning to go all out on my bicycle this year - I am determined to do Cycle Adirondacks, a week-long 400 mile ride through the Adirondacks (uphill both ways? They are called the Adirondack Mountains, right?)
So training...that's what I'll be doing.

Getting a new job!

The wife and I are taking the kids on a 24 day tour of Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. Camping and hiking in the National Parks.

Planning on going all out on myself! Listening to me and what I need- that spa certificate will come in handy!

I am planning to support and be more involved in my community here in Albany. For birthdays/holidays I am trying to check out the local shops for gifts and treats before going to the mall or walmart. If I am going out to eat Id rather try something local(we have so any options!) instead of hitting a chain. I already volunteer for some of the events around Albany but I would like to be move involved. I am realizing it is more and more important to be active in your community if you want things done!

Having more FUN!!!

We are planning our wedding, so I'm going to go all out on getting married!

Entering all the AOA amazing drawings!!!

I'm going to hike all 46 peaks in the Adirondacks!

I'm going to go all out on being a better person. To me that means being less selfish, less focused on myself. Be more considerate of others. Be more giving and generous. Put others first. Be more humble.

This is the year that I turn 50 and I'm allowing that to inspire me to grab life by the horns with even more enthusiasm than ever. I'm filling my calendar with new adventures (a trip to Barcelona and Lisbon in spring) and challenges (an intense 12 mile trail run on Mother's Day). Look out, world, I'm coming at you!

Entering my 40th year, I am taking more time to take better care of myself and enjoy all that life has given me - including health, love, family and friends!

Traveling! Whether it's day/weekend trips or a possible out of country trip. I want to see more and do more than I currently am.

As someone who will be soon starting a family, I'm planning on going all-out with being a first-time father. Nerves are there but also an amazing sense of excitement!

Seeing shows. More live music is in my future!

Saving $!!

I'm going all out on reading! Trying to finish 52 books this year - a book a week. (I'm almost on track!)

Well, I'm not a resolutions gal at all- but about the last week in January, I resolved to bake 1 layer cake a month (baking = de-stress, plus maybe I can eventually make them look like cake). And I don't even like cake.

Anywhoo, so, I have a totally attainable resolution, and yes, I will give it my all. But, more pertinent to your question...I'm going to throw myself into writing more.

Also, an ALL OUT 40th bday bash to boot , of course - with everyone who has been a part of my 39 years of adventure thus far. I will be going full bore on Crossfit this year! Also going as many travels as time and money will allow.

But I would also like to see a movie in theaters at least once a month, read a novel a month, and finish a quilt I've been working on for almost two years.

Square foot gardening to increase the food I grow in my garden plot.
