Farther afield, but notable given the popularity of the MegaBus here: Lucas Peterson -- NYT's "Frugal Traveler" -- shared an account of the MegaBus he was riding from Chicago to Milwaukee catching fire over the weekend (see also his Twitter feed). One of the things he and other passengers found out afterward: MegaBus caps its liability at damaged or lost luggage at $250. [NYT]
