The B-52s with the Boston Pops at Tanglewood
Could be groovy fun: The B-52s are set to play a show with the Boston Pops at Tanglewood September 2. Tickets go on sale March 14 -- they're $22 and up.
It's been 40 years since the band first formed in Athens, Georgia, and eight years since they're last album. (We looked it up.) Apparently they still play a bunch of shows each year.
Here's the rest of the pop music schedule (so far) for Tanglewood this summer, which added a few more shows this week in addition to the B-52s. The lineup also includes A Prairie Home Companion June 25, and Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me September 1.
And the Boston Pops schedule at Tanglewood also includes "very special guest" Seth McFarlane (July 10), John Williams Film Night (August 13), and a screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark with live score (August 26).

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
