Drawing's closed! Winner's been emailed!

Superior Merchandise Company's Coffee School series continues this Monday, March 7 with a class called "Brew Better at Home." Blurbage:

This class will break down the basics of coffee brewing, offering a wide variety of tips for folks seeking more out of their morning cup. Topics such as water, grinding, what to measure and how to select the right brew method for your household will be covered as well as a wide-open question and answer session for folks with detailed concerns.

The class is limited to just 10 people. And we have one ticket -- maybe for you. To enter the drawing, please answer this question in the comments:

How do you like your coffee?

You can interpret that question pretty much however you'd like. It could be what you like in your coffee (maybe nothing). It could be when you like to have a cup of coffee. It could be a very specific place and time, like a cafe during a trip to Paris. Whatever. We'll draw one winner at random.

The "Brew Better at Home" class at Superior Merchandise in Troy is Monday, March 7 at 6 pm. Tickets are $30 and available online (previous classes have sold out). In addition to the class, each attendee will also go home with a bag of coffee and they'll get a 10 percent store discount while they're there.

Important: All comments must be submitted by 10:30 am on Friday, March 4, 2016 to be entered in the drawing. You must answer the question to be part of the drawing. (Normal commenting guidelines apply.) One entry per person, please. You must enter a valid email address (that you check regularly) with your comment. The winner will be notified via email by noon on Friday and must respond by noon on Saturday, March 5.

Espresso + glass of ice water while looking out a window on a windy day.

I like my coffee - Melange - at Cuardo, Margaretenstrasse, Vienna.

I take it black, like my men.

Trader Joe's Smooth and Mellow with Grassfed Amish butter and Coconut Oil. Take on all comers

A medium roast with coconut milk creamer :)

I usually drink my coffee black, but some of the best coffee of my life has been in a cabin on a cold morning, miles back in the woods with a heavy dose of Baileys :)

I like my coffee like I like my soul, black without a hint of sweetness

Always with a book!

I like summertime cold brew--nothing like waking up and knowing it's waiting for me in the fridge!

Coffee at Superior Merchandise Co...it is awesome!

They make a damn fine cappuccino at the Delaware Trolley place but if I'm at home I just make sure it's black, strong and blazing hot. If I can drink it while sitting on the porch, even better.

A Blue Bottle latte on a trip to the city!

As black as Midnight on a moonless night

Without cream or sugar. Although sometimes I'll get a New Orleans when I'm at a Blue Bottle

I like freshly ground arabica beans in a french press in the morning.

black, iced with soy milk :-)

Tall dark and and handsome.

For Christmas I was gifted a 1950's Italian copper stovetop coffee maker and it has since become my favorite way to brew a cup of coffee. Something about engaging in thew brewing process is really fun.

1 part espresso 2 parts milk.

Almost any blend from Dean's Beans is a good bet.

Black like a moonless night.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
