Albany Improv Festival
The first Albany Improv Festival is scheduled for April 23 at the Madison Theater. The festival will feature short performances throughout the afternoon and evening by comedy troupes both from this area and around the country. The schedule of acts is after the jump.
Tickets are available online now -- they're $20 for an all-day pass / $17 for two blocks of performances / $11 for one block. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Damien Center.
Earlier that day the festival will also include a workshop with improv coach Christopher Simpson. Tickets for that are $20 and available online.

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
