APL Silent Film Spectacular returns this spring
The Albany Public Library's Silent Film Spectacular series returns for another season in April. The APL will be screening silent movies with live soundtracks performed by local bands.
The screenings are each Wednesday in the large auditorium of the APL branch on Washington Ave, starting at 7 pm. They're free.
Here's the full lineup:
April 6: A Message from Mars (1913)
With live, original music by Nelson Esposito Quintana (NEQ) and Bob Resnick.
April 13: Battleship Potemkin (1925)
With live, original music by Matt Weston.
April 20: The Clash of the Wolves (1925)
With live, original music by Kimono Dragons.
April 27: The General (1926)
With live, original music by Ryan Devine and Justin Fuld.
