Today's moment of spring
This is from the other day, before the relapse of the cold. Otto was taking his time reading the latest news at a tree and the birds were singing. One song in particular caught our ear.

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. I don't see the bird in the video, but I'm pretty sure that's a cardinal. A pair will 'talk' to each other for hours, during breeding season especially. One summer a nest was in the shrub directly out our window. What a happy racket, and we had a front row view when 2 eggs hatched.
Put sunflower seeds in your bird feeder and you will always have cardinals visiting.
