The Felice Brothers

The Felice Brothers will be there in July.

The schedule for this summer's Rockin' on the River free concert series in downtown Troy is out. The Wednesday night series starts June 15 in Riverfront Park and runs through August 3.

And here's the lineup of acts...

Shows start at 5 pm.

Talking Heads tribute.

June 22: Skeeter Creek
With: MaryLeigh Roohan
Country + alt-soul singer/songwriter.

June 29: So So Glos
With: Stellar Young
Punk + indie rock.

July 6: Almost Queen The Ultimate Queen Experience
With: The winner of the WVCR "Play to Play" Contest
Queen tribute.

July 13: Eastbound Jesus
With: North & South Dakotas
Northern rock + Northeast Y'allternative.

July 20: The Felice Brothers
With: The Parlor
Folk rock + campfire disco/art-pop.

July 27: An Evening with Blues for Breakfast
A tribute to The Grateful Dead.

August 3: Caroline Rose
With: Rabbit in the Rye
Alt-Americana + folk rock.

Um... what exactly is "campfire disco/art pop"?

There are 4 acts Playing in 2016 that played in 2015. With all the local bands out there that would kill at this event, You took 4 dates out of 8 and handed it to the same bands. Unfair to other bands in the area. "The Biggest Risk In Life is Not Taking One."
